I must say that it was not easy to choose a poem written by John Keats in order to talk about it, as there are so many of them and they all are quite interesting from my point of view. I was about to choose a poem related to mythology, since it is an issue I am interested in, like the poem called ” Apollo and The Graces”.
Finally, I decided to talk about “On Death”, because Death was a topic very present in Romanticism and still nowadays. In fact, Romantic poets found inspiration in Death when they wanted to express what they felt after a beloved relatived or friend died: sorrow, pity, anger, and so on.
